There are so many wonderful things about this time of year. The colder temps and welcoming of cozy season, the quality time with the people you love, exchanging thoughtful gifts and participating in the traditions (Eggnog, anyone?). But sometimes when we’re gift-giving, something gets overlooked.

It seems so much easier to just buy everything on Amazon or Target and have it shipped in one easy purchase. And yes, that can be true, but the wonderful thing about supporting small businesses is that you are genuinely making a difference in the life of an individual and their family, and secondly, it’s something unique and extra meaningful that the recipient will likely cherish for longer than something from a big box store.
