When an old friend reached out recently looking for ideas to style her daughter's bedroom, we knew putting together a mood board and E-Design would be the best and easiest way to give them an overall design plan to follow. Lucie is twelve and wants a sophisticated desert-chic bedroom (no more kid stuff) and gave us these style words: shibori, mud cloth, cacti, woven texture and gold accents. She was off to a great start with a few pieces she'd already purchased. With those items and her style words as inspo, we created a look that incorporates textured materials like jute, rattan and rope with shades of indigo and warm desert tones like pink, red and copper.
