Baja-Inspired Dining Room

Our last post gave a look at our trip to Baja California's Valle de Guadalupe and we're not done raving about it yet (just ask our friends)!! Mexico's wine country left us mesmerized and we couldn't help but create this Baja-inspired dining room moodboard of our own. From its seaside towns to its valley vineyards, Baja is known for it's fresh, colorful cuisine. Fish tacos, lobster, ceviche, veggies and local wines and cheeses make the emerging farm-to-table dining experience one to keep you wanting more! In addition to the delicious food, we fell hard for Baja's laid-back, rustic charm. Rusty desert tones, wrought iron accents and beautifully aged textiles create stylish spaces that feel comfortable and inviting, much like Baja itself!

Scouted: Serveware

We absolutely love any and everything related to the dining experience, from choosing furniture and fixtures to creating a gorgeous tablescape and everything in between. For anyone who loves to host, serveware is especially important. We've scouted our top picks that are practical for any gathering and maintain a beautiful design aesthetic. The white and blue pieces feel fresh and modern but give a nod to traditional styling. Wood pieces feel relaxed and easy, while the metallic elements bring subtle glamour. Together or individually, these serveware items can transition from a relaxed gathering (think brunch) to a fancy dinner or holiday party.

Dark + Moody Dining Room

The first day of Fall is officially behind us and we are beyond excited that our favorite cozy season is finally here! The weather may not have gotten the memo just yet, but we couldn't be more ready for football parties, hot bourbon cider, pumpkin carving and opening up our homes to our family and friends. We've rounded up our favorite dining room decor that will bring a moody edge to your space. We're trading in the typical colors of Autumn (think orange and brown tones) for deep shades of crimson and indigo. We top off the look with rose gold and brass accents for shine and add modern contrast with black and white. From a dark and spooky Halloween party to a sultry Valentine's dinner spent at home, this high-drama look is beautiful and versatile enough to carry you all the way through the holiday season!
