We put a cap on 2016 with a family photo session with our favorite Los Angeles photographer, Sarah Foss of Apple Rose Photography. Since our first year of marriage, it's been a tradition of ours to send Christmas cards to our loved ones. It's become our thing. Every year we enlist Sarah (a dear friend) to help capture whatever idea we have in mind. We've done everything from wrapping ourselves up in Christmas lights to riding a tandem bicycle (never again) to donning reindeer antlers in the woods. Without a doubt though, our cards have become super duper cuter now that we have our two little bits.

We've added a new member to our Scouted team and it's a BOY!!!!!
We are so happy and excited to introduce you to Wilder Grady Scott!
Wilder made his grand debut on his exact due date, July 27, 2016 at 9:42 am. This little chunk weighed in at 9 pounds 3 ounces and measured 21 inches long! He is absolutely perfect and we feel so lucky to add him to our family.
"Scott, party of four..."
Big sister, Reese, was a little skeptical at first, but it didn't take her long to feel proud of her new role. She's enjoying showering her baby brother with tons of love and kisses. We're all going through lots of emotional changes, figuring out new routines and surviving on very little sleep (well, except Reese... that kid sleeps like a rock). We're loving every minute though, and our hearts are completely full. It's basically a giant love-fest over here as we soak up all the time we can with these sweet babes!
Wilder Baby Shower
Last weekend, in an attempt to wrangle our friends together for an afternoon of celebration and catching up, we had a baby shower (or more like a sprinkle) at our home in Pasadena, CA. The party was hosted by bestie and Scouted Home co-founder, Brittany, with help from our family who were visiting in town. We wanted the theme to be loosely based on the children's book Where the Wild Things Are, which is fitting for our baby boy, Wilder! Because we were having it at our home and because we'd had a traditional shower for big sister, Reese, we decided to invite the guys along this time. We kept things simple and easygoing- cornhole, craft beers and champagne cocktails helped set the mood for a perfect day!
